After Talia looks through her childhood journal she puts it down. With the same hand grabs her cell to make a call. However she never pushes anything to actually make a call. She's immediately and magically connected.
At the end of "Chapter 5," the narrator's voiceover does not match the book's words written on the screen.
At the beginning of "Chapter 4," Talia is shown writing in her journal. But the page is already full of writing and she's just miming the action.
The movie was obviously shot in the late summer. You can see all those beautiful green deciduous trees, grass, and bushes. It was so warm, that even in the evening and night, cast and extras wear unbuttoned light clothes. Some were in just the plain shirts!
Snowing was digital. The only time you see real winter shots is when they showed stock footage. The whole thing is absurd as plot takes place somewhere around Seattle (in reality was shot in BC, Canada), and not in Florida or some other southern US state.
