Dark and refreshing take to Star Wars
psmitherz29 November 2012
This film not only renewed my faith in Fan Films, but the Star Wars franchise itself. It takes a totally new look at the world Lucas created and twists it into a dark realistic perspective. I'm not very familiar with the video game series but I didn't have to know much about the characters to understand who was bad and who was good. The acting and effects were spectacular. It did lack a few things such as camera work and some consistency but over all an amazing achievement. Now on to the story. it was apparent that Darth Revan was a force to be reckoned with, but I loved his outlook on good and evil. The depth that we find ourselves discovering characters is spectacular. I got a better understanding of what the Sith justified as reasonable. I also got to see a side of the Mandalorians I've not yet seen. For them to operate in a clan was very refreshing. I'm a big fan of mandalorians and this film (although not merciful) seemed to portray them very well. All in all, for a film done by a fan I am very impressed. 10/10 and a favorite fan film for me.

What a bunch of...
Snootz13 January 2018
There are good fan films that are done with considerable effort... and there are those that are done because people want to dress up in odd-looking Jedi outfits and storm trooper costumes and be in a film. This seems to be one of the later.

I try to give fan films a break because well, low budget, non-pro actors, done for the fun of it. But I shut this one down at 05:40 min into it when a Jedi (yet again fighting in a forest) utters the term, "I'll see you in hell!"

Seriously?

Forced acting, logic flaws, terrible script dialog... all adds up to "I am not going to waste the next 20 minutes watching more of this hairball." My must-watch-and-see-what-happens filters work better than they once did and I don't mind calling out a bantha dropping when it becomes obvious. (I still can't get over that "see you in hell" line. Gagh.)

Gave it 3 stars for "it's a fan film". I reserve 1 & 2 stars for offenses to humanity. This one is going to take quite bit of polishing to make that pudu shine.
