When Prophet Josiah is spreading mud all over Curly's body and face, the amount of mud on his right cheek changes between camera shots.
Early in the story, Prophet Josiah (Jason Isaacs) mistakenly calls Miguel (Eduardo Noriega) by the name of Manuel.
Several times when Sheriff Jackson (Ed Harris) asks the gunsmith to analyze the bullets that killed brothers Levi and Jacob, he refers to them as Levi and Josie.
Tucumcari was founded as a railroad town in 1901 as "Ragtown" and was re-named "Tucumcari" in 1908. The story is obviously not set in 1908.
