I love this episode because it tests all of the women. They each have to make choices and take risk and they find new ways of being investigated on their own. Finally, Gemma makes the choice to stand on her own and she's thrilled to learn How brave she is. Franny on the other hand tries to rely on the same way she's always known and unfortunately she finds out that Simplicity is a lot better than materialism. She loses a lot but thinks she's gaining everything she's always had. Definitely recommend this episode and the series overall.

What a great first season!!! This is such an unassuming drama but done so well. The characters are likeable (for the most part) and you find yourself rooting for them.
Harriet is so awkward but such a lovely lady. She adds some comedy to the show (unintentionally).
Fran is the most money hungry one but is so caring and trustworthy at the same time. Hopefully she will realize that money isn't everything.
Gemma is my least favourite. In all fairness she should have stayed quiet until her and her baby were safe.
Lou is a product of her environment but there is a sweet soul in there.
Looking forward to the next season. Hopefully the quality remains the same.
