The singer

The singer is sooo annoying and has 0 interactions with the children who's participating.

Considering that the watcher is who she is interacting with it still sends the wrong message.

In fact, she should have as much interactions with the children, participating.

The message I'm getting, is that she's there for the camera (the watcher) and the children there, participating is just "her accessory". Practically sending the message, that "no one else's matters, than the singer herself and the watcher"

Credits are given where credits due. The disabled child, was probably the only child she even looked at.

As a parent watching this, I really hope you consider a new actress. Who's less self centered and better supporting with childrens learning and growth.

I'll go ahead and suggest Ms. Rachel from Songs for Littles of YouTube.

My Daughter was Excited for the Remake!

My daughter saw the old Teletubbies and she was really amused by them and would laugh during the episodes. When she saw the new preview for the reboot she was happy and wasted no time playing it. There are definitely some nice changes to the show to be more inclusive of girls and boys and different ethnicity for the sun baby! I also never minded Teletubbies so this is just nostalgic for me. Definitely fun for little people! She will most likely show this to her baby sister once she is into TV shows. I like how on the tummy videos there is an adult leading songs and not just random babbles and activities like on the original.

Why did it come back?

I'm extremely disappointed with this comeback. The Teletubbies are very annoying, silly and do the same thing again and again.

Most of the show is just footage of children doing everyday activities and the Teletubbies don't do much at all.

I wonder why the BBC decided to bring back the show. Possibly because its the only way to make money. They managed to reinvent the Teletubbies and made it worse the original.

The shows is very short and has similar features in every episode. The Teletubbies mostly put on the TV which is the worst part of it.

So seriously don't waste your time with the Teletubbies.

I put this in as a joke

I put this on as a joke for my toddler and he instantly fell in love with the show. He doesn't like TV shows like this so I am shocked. Now I am singing the theme song all day! I didn't watch the 90s Teletubbies so can't compare it to the older version but I like the little music songs they have one it with toddlers dancing and singing, the girl who sings is very happy and my son enjoys watching her sing and dance. The Teletubbies themselves creep me out but my toddler enjoys them and laughs with them. I hope there is another season for my son to watch. The stories are very cute, and interesting for children.

Or my daughter did actually. This is not for adults obviously, but having seen the original Teletubbies back when I was a kid, I could tell there were some differences in the reboot that really made it more engaging for a baby. My baby gets excited everytime she sees tummy tv coming up, because that means she gets to see bright, high contrast colors and listening to Julia's mellow, upbeat singing.

Honestly I didn't care for it personally at first, because I grew up with different teletubbies, but after rewatching this multiple times with my daughter, I actually prefer it now. Also damn those songs are catchy and bring a huge smile in my girl's face when I start singing them to her randomly.

Twists here and there but stayed to the original. Good for babies.

Not bad at all, somewhat stayed to the OG teletubbies. Just few twists for representations and improvements in the graphics and sound. Not a fan of the narrator in this to be honest, sounds nothing like the original. Although the graphics were outstanding, the teletubbies seems to be awkward and creepy at the same time lol. Im not aware of the existence of tiddlytubbies so i was shocked when i watched them for the first time in this, cute but not necessary. The baby sun mascot was cute, unlike the original this time they went for a baby of different race. Not liking the green color on dipsy but love the idea of making one teletubbies into a darker skin complexion, like dipsy representating dark skin tone and ping as asian tiddlytubby. Not a fan of the music here, the rest were tolerable. Good for babies, recommended.
