'Guy Walks Into A Bar', one of my very favorite episode titles (just so damned appropriate) is just one memorable scene after another; a shockingly skillful mix of comical situations and unbelievably dark character moments. Walton Goggins shares an intense scene with Neal McDonough after Boyd steals the election; the S.S. Quarles is officially going down as the psychopath actually engages Raylan in a bar standoff, not to mention his sadistic turn in the final scene. One of the best scene involves the reveal of Quarles' backstory, and McDonough really sells the horror - while simultaneously making you wonder how true it really is.
And after all that's gone down (particularly the larger role given to Jim Beaver, there's a win) there's Raylan offering the worst testimony at Dewey's trial. Art has the best line: "Did that go the way you rehearsed it?"
Sheer brilliance, across the board.
10/10
