Bad.

What happens when three of America's most annoying YouTubers head to Australia and go monster hunting? Not much that's very interesting. The first 30 minutes of this supposed found footage film is as irritating as anything you will likely ever see because even though the footage was supposed "found" it has ridiculous effects and graphics edited in. How convenient. Then our bumbling trio "loses the trail". Try looking behind you, we can all see it on the screen. Found footage is still effective when done properly, this does nothing properly. In fact, I found myself rooting for whatever mythical thing that lurked in the woods to completely eviscerate these morons.

My Trip to Annoyingville

Warning: Spoilers
Wow.

Where to begin. Take three highly hip and annoying American teens and give them a Best Buy camera and watch the IQs fall. Rapidly.

Yes it is your typical fakeumentary style video. It's awful, just awful. The characters spend most of the time yelling and screaming for no reason what so ever. Not because there is something happening, but because it is what youngsters do now days. Just yell for no reason because they think it will make people pay attention to them. Then they made the decision to plaster emojis and words all over the screen thinking it would make this more interesting or authentic. It doesn't. It makes it more unwatchable and leaves me wondering if this is what they spent their student loans on instead of an education.

THE END.

Blair Witch Aussie Style

Warning: Spoilers
I don't mind found footage movies as long as they are reasonably good. Some are but many of them are not. Our Trip To Berribrook is actually not too bad. Three American Youtubers travel to Australia to make a Youtube video about strange disappearances in Berribrook, a fictional place in the NSW Snowy Mountains region. There they are lost and hunted by...something.

This is where it does get interesting. Now you can see where the Blair Witch was the inspiration for this. The premise is nearly identical. Only in Australia and they are not looking for a witch but something else entirely. The interaction between the three YouTubers does not get annoying. Ardie Peters as Max, Nick Shugg as Joey, and Alice Mahony as Holly work well together. This is a good movie for those who enjoy found footage films. Oh, and the ending is rather clever.
