This is a student film by Eusong Lee--a person who I know nothing about, but who seems to have a bright future in animation. As far as "Will" goes, it's a bit hard to describe and it's about 9/11 (a subject in quite a few short films it seems). However, the art style, music and storytelling are all very unique and not the sort of work you might expect from a relative novice. My advice is just see this one--absorb it and appreciate it without trying to over-analyze it. Additionally, remind yourself that this is only the second film listed in their credits on IMDb--which is quite an accomplishment.
As far as scoring this one goes, I'll defer this. It's because you really cannot compare a student film to regular shorts. But, as far as promise goes, this one sure shows a lot.
