It was definitely satisfying

Warning: Spoilers
This episode features Kif finally getting tired of his mistreatment at the hands of Zapp Brannigan. Zapp gets forced to attend sensitivity training, while Leela becomes the new leader of the Nimbus, his ship. Fry and Bender tag along too. The sensitivity training leader is Dr. Gary Kind, who turns out to be a villain. It honestly seems as though Zapp got some character development. I'm glad Kif and Amy are getting their relationship going too.

The best part is probably how Zapp finally gets some punishment. We find out about the Durian fruit, which I'm happy to inform you is something I know about. Boy, do I love "Guinness World Records"! I will admit that there weren't that many jokes in this. Well, this is post Avatar The Last Airbender. All great cartoons have to have continuity now. ***

It can blow away the episodes before.

If you someone watch the old seasons and watch this episode I bet they can't tell that something was different. Good story about one of the many failures of Zapp. We had a episode before where Zapp was kicked out, a little bit of modern time situation this time around.

A strong point showing Leila's desire and unhappiness, I really liked the starfleet references and jokes. Aeey Captain, a good episode. It showed what a good person Leila is and she stand for what she believes, unlike Zapp. That makes me think for the reason why captain like Zapp can keep his job, it take a person with no compassion and moral compass to take a decision like the one with the Air people.

Don't let the title fool you, this was actually a great episode!

I know most people were dreading this episode and probably even moreso after the covid episode but this episode was the complete opposite from the covid episode. It was funny, it didnt focus too much on cancel culture and we went on an adventure to a new planet with a new society. This is the kind of stuff i hope to see more of next season.

Fry and Leela just being an established couple and having them be cute around each other is just so nice to see. I love how they continue to do it even when their relationship isnt part of the story.

The only "bad" one is the covid episode and thankfully we got that out of the way. Now i hope more episodes are this creative and fun.

Overall im happy with this season even if the beginning had some issues, i think they finally found their groove (minus the covid episode).

Classic Futurama

Warning: Spoilers
Better than last week that's for sure! This straight up felt like a good old futurama episode! The episode again may sound "topical" but it goes beyond what it seems like and it's a fun episode, especially with Zapp being at the main focus!

It's not the first time he's been "fired" or in this episodes case "canceled" but he actually in a way learns his lesson a bit

Along the way there was a few jokes that actually were really funny and Leela Taking over the Nimbus, showing her different leadership ways than that of Zapp, and how every crew member was happy was spot on

And the ending with Mr. Kind character and the fake simulation was funny asf the fact they were attacking their own ship without knowing and Zapp getting back to being captain keeping the status Quo intact of course!

And Fry and Leela still not being sweet together was a perfect ending to the episode with leela saying "i guess i dont have what it takes to be a doop captain" and then Fry saying "you have what it takes to be Leela"

This season has only had 2 letdown episodes out of 8 and I'm excited for next week even more.

A great improvement from the last episode

Warning: Spoilers
This episode definitely improves from the last episode as it finally balances out political relevance, comedy, and originality. Zapp finally gets punished for mistreating Kif, we got to see a brand new whimsical alien species with a memorable character named Airee, and we find out that DOOP are not the good guys they made themselves out to be. They are actually a corrupt and hypocritical organization that exploits other species for personal gain. Because of this, a more grayer picture is painted on them, which balanced out the morality to make them no different from Olicron Persei 8, who has been painted as bad mostly because of protagonist centered morality. This episode definitely took some notes from Final Space with strong character development and the revelation that DOOP is actually "Corruption Stew". I'm looking forward to seeing episodes that follow this one and depict DOOP in a more antagonistic picture.
