- Jon and the wildlings travel south of the Wall. Talisa tells Robb that she's pregnant. Arya runs away from the Brotherhood. Daenerys arrives at Yunkai. Jaime leaves Brienne behind at Harrenhal.
- Robb and his entourage are traveling to the Freys but wet weather has delayed them. Talisa has big news for him. Jon Snow, Ygritte and the others have crossed into the south and are headed to Castle Black. Margaery has good advice for Sansa who dreads the thought of having to marry Tyrion. For his part, Tyrion thinks she's too young. Shae is also unhappy with Tyrion's upcoming marriage and she wants them to run away. Tywin Lannister makes sure King Joffrey knows exactly who is on charge. Daenerys and her army arrive at Yunkai, the Yellow City. Ser Jorah recommends that they simply bypass the walled city as conquering it serves no useful purpose. She disagrees but the slavers of Yunkai refuse to free all of their slaves. Melissandre arrives in King's Landing with Gendry and tells him of his ancestry. Arya meanwhile runs off on her own and into the arms of an enemy. Jaime begins his trip to King's Landing but refuses to leave Brienne behind. Theon Greyjoy is comforted by two young ladies but his captor has something else in mind.—garykmcd
- Jon Snow, Ygritte and the survivors of the wildling party head to Castle Black. Daenery is decided to take the city of Yunkai and she meets one of the wise masters of Yunkai to offer his and the other masters' lives if they surrender to her. Arya flees from the camp of the Brotherhood but she is caught by The Hound. Theon is released by two gorgeous women that seduce him; out of the blue, his torturer returns and tells that he will castrate him. Jaime leaves Harrenhal escorted by the Bolton guards but when he learns the fate of Brienne, he forces the men to return to rescue the lady from Locke and an angry bear.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Delayed by weather on the way to Frey, Robb enjoys distracting sex with Talisa, who reveals expecting his child. Theon duly fears another ploy when released from the cross by two sexy girls teasing him to awake his 'famous boner', but just when he gets into it Ramsay returns with two goons, ordering castration. Jaime is impressed by the healing skill of the suspended master while finally sent on for exchange, but forces his escort to return to Harrenhal after hearing Brienne will he the brotherhood's 'entertainment', as turns out facing a bear with a wooden sword, but Jaime jumps in saving both. Joffrey summons hand Tywin, displeased the small council meeting in his tower are hard to attend and receiving a promise to be involved in important decisions, albeit 'when necessary'. Maergery convinces Sansa to give marriage to Tyrion a chance, he fails to appease 'scorned' Shae who must move out. Arriving in King's landing, Melissandre tells Gendry he's king Roberts bastard 'heir'. Jon Sow and Ygritte tease even closer as their survivor party continues to the Wall, which he warns stood all six previous Wildling invasions. The rich, well-fortified, yellow 'bed slaves' city of Yunkai offers to buy off Daenerys with all she needs to continue the conquest of Westeros, but she demands the release of all salves, with excessive wages, despite a warning the city has powerful friends.—KGF Vissers
- In the North, Jojen tells Bran they must not stop at Castle Black, but travel beyond the Wall to find the Three-eyed Raven; Osha warns them about the White Walkers. Jon and Ygritte's relationship deepens, angering jealous Wildling, Orell. Theon's torturer castrates him. Robb learns Talisa is pregnant. Arya escapes the Brotherhood, only to be captured by Sandor. Melisandre tells Gendry that his father was King Robert. Shae warns Tyrion that their relationship will end once he marries Sansa. Tywin and Joffrey discuss Daenerys; Tywin dismisses her as a potential threat. Daenerys reaches Yunkai and declares war on the city. Roose Bolton leaves Harrenhal for Edmure Tully's wedding while Jaime bids Brienne farewell as he departs for King's Landing. On the road, Jaime learns Locke has refused Brienne's father's ransom. He returns to Harrenhal to find Brienne in a pit fighting a bear. He saves her and they depart to King's Landing together.
- Daenerys and her army reach Yunkai. Daenerys tells Jorah she will take the city to free its 200,000 slaves. An envoy, Razdal mo Eraz, is sent to offer terms, which include gold and as many ships as she wants. Daenerys refuses his offer, demanding the slaves of the city be freed and compensated for their service or she will attack.
Sansa is comforted by Margaery, who has heard of her betrothal to Tyrion. Elsewhere, Tyrion and Bronn discuss the match and how it will affect Shae. Tywin meets with Joffrey who asks what they should do about the rumors of Daenerys and her dragons, but Tywin claims there is no threat.
On Blackwater Bay, Melisandre reveals to Gendry that his father was King Robert Baratheon.
Jon and the wildling party continue their journey south. Soon after, Orell speaks to Ygritte, confessing his love for her and trying to convince her that Jon is still loyal to the Night's Watch. Later, Jon tells Ygritte that the wildling cause is hopeless, but she remains undaunted.
Theon is freed from his constraints by two young women who begin pleasuring him. They are soon interrupted by his tormenter, who mocks Theon's sexual prowess, before ordering his men to restrain Theon as he removes his genitals.
Heading north, Osha continues to grow suspicious of the Reeds, calling Jojen's visions "black magic". When she says they have to continue, Jojen reveals that the three-eyed raven is north of the Wall. Osha refuses to allow them to go north of the Wall, relating to them the story of her husband's disappearance, his return as a wight and her having to burn their home down with him inside.
Robb, his advisors, and his army are delayed by rain in their march toward the Twins for Edmure's wedding to Roslin Frey. Catelyn and the Blackfish discuss their distaste for Walder Frey, who will see their delay and Robb's oath-breaking as slights against his family. Talisa reveals to Robb that she is pregnant.
At the Brotherhood's hideout, Arya berates Beric and Thoros for taking money for Gendry. When Anguy tells Beric of a Lannister raiding party near them, he orders the men to move out in pursuit. Arya calls Beric a liar, and runs away but is quickly captured by the Hound.
At Harrenhal, Jaime visits Brienne in her cell and before he leaves, she makes him swear to uphold his oath to Catelyn and return the Stark girls to their mother. Later, Qyburn informs Jaime that Brienne will not be ransomed by Locke. He blackmails the party leader, Steelshanks, to order their return to Harrenhal. There, Jaime finds that Brienne has been forced to fight a grizzly bear while armed only with a wooden sword. Jaime leaps into the pit to protect her and manages to free Brienne from Locke and leaves.
