How can boomers sustain themselves while giving care to aging parents, in their own homes or in assisted living residences? Shot over two and one-half years, this short doc explores answers by following Brenda, an adult daughter, and her mother, Carolyn, as they face the challenges of finding loving ways to meet Carolyn's needs--she is Medicare nursing-home eligible--with 'grace and dignity.' Even with her self-described Type A personality and devotion to her mother, Brenda herself needs to be rescued, and Carolyn knows it. Brenda's caregiving over more than two decades has extolled its price.
