Handlung
WUSSTEST DU SCHON:
- WissenswertesJackie returns after an extended absence due to a broken leg and thanks the several guest hosts who substituted for him while he was out: Ed Sullivan, Robert Q. Lewis, Garry Moore, Red Skelton, Art Carney, Eddie Fisher, and Jane Froman. He also cited Spike Jones whose program appears on NBC opposite Gleason. The hopeless Poor Soul tries unsuccessfully to enjoy a meal at an automat. Gregarious Joe the Bartender learns that the unseen Mr. Dunnahy (the audience) received a black eye for accidentally insulting his wife. Joe relays to Dunnahy about the latest activities of the neighborhood gang: Duddy Duddleson, Tinhorn Schwartz, Fatso Fogerty, Gaylord Farquard, and Jimmy Probst. TV pitchman Stanley R. Sogg peddles numerous books.
