- Many years after Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Zuko have heroically put an end to the hundred year war. The Order of the White Lotus discover that the Avatar has been born in the Southern Water Tribe to Tonraq and Senna. Thirteen years later, Korra has mastered all three of the elements and she is determined to master air bending from Aang and Katara's son, Tenzin. However, Tenzin postpones Korra's training because of his position with the council. Korra becomes frustrated over her isolation and she travels to Republic City with her polar bear dog, Naga. During her arrival, Korra encounters many obstacles along the way. Such as not being able to pay for food, encountering a protester who believes bending is evil, taking out a criminal triad, and getting arrested by the Metal Bending Police Force. Tenzin bails Korra out of jail, he comes to realize the world needs the Avatar again. Tenzin allows Korra to stay with him on Air Temple Island so she can master air.—dawsonpersi
