When mother and daughter are talking in the Subaru and both are supposedly in the front seat, we see them clearly in the front seat when they are together, but they are in the back seat when we see them on their own, and the mother is holding a fake steering wheel! - we know this because the pillar and door are clearly from the back seat. They alternate from front to back throughout the conversation.
Sofia gets out of bed in the morning with her walking cast on. She would have taken that off to go to sleep.
