too long and unfocused
As of this episode not sure if I will keep watching weekly. Will probably wait until its all released so I can skip a lot. I find the community and some characters interesting but this easily could have been one 90 minute documentary. In addition, it jumps around too much between storylines and people making it feel random and unfocused. With all the runtime they haven't really done enough to connect the dots between all the various people interviewed. You have one group responsible for organizing the conference and another group that just seems like a group of freeloader addicts who just happen to be there.
I'm getting tired of all these current docs and shows padding out their runtime. It is egregious in this one. I get they are trying to show year to year but the event they have been building to (which I already know about) didn't require this much build up. So they are trying to have a dual focus on the conference itself which is just boring AF. It's discussions about logistics that nobody cares about and aren't unique to this one. I'll check in at the end.
