In the movie, it is said that the tank that came in was an M1 Abrams. However it is a T-55.
The hyperspectrals are made of a special form of matter and therefore walls (made of ordinary matter) present no barrier to them, they slip right through them, meaning they shouldn't be able to walk and jump, and yet strangely they don't fall through the floors or the ground.
Moldova is a real country, a former Soviet republic. But it has been a peaceful parliamentary democracy ever since.
In low light conditions the soldiers' EMF detection googles light up during combat use which would reveal their position to the enemy, something no soldier wants to do.
It makes no sense that the hyperspectrals hunt and kill innocent men, women and children since they are controlled by the minds of dead civilians who presumably weren't cold-blooded killers.
It's totally implausible that Clyne could have quickly made dozens of new high-tech weapons, plus new googles, masks, helmets and body armor simply by scavenging random gear brought from their old base.
At the beginning of the movie, the video feed supposedly depicting civil unrest in Moldova, is actually slightly edited stock footage of civil unrest in Kiev (Kyiv), Ukraine, January-February 2014.
At the 9:30 mark, when the C130 is approaching the airport, the plane is way too high to be able to land on the runway, unless he wants to hit the FAR end. Aircraft glide slopes shouldn't exceed 30 degrees, and this plane would almost have to fall out of the sky to land on the front 1/3 of the runway.
Max Martini is listed in the credits as Captain, However at the start of the movie and at 38mins in he is called Major.
In the montage scene where Clyne is making new weapons, we see Clyne using a small tool. He points the tool inside the body of a gun and every time he touches a part we hear the sound of a power tool tightening a bolt. However, there are no bolts and the tool is clearly a cheap glue gun spray painted white.
7 minutes 22 seconds into the movie, right after "We'll talk over the next steps, all right?", a few seconds of the scene when they are preparing to leave the room is played once again, but from another angle/zoomed out (editing error).
The spectrals can only be seen through the special goggles and cameras, but they can be seen by the soldiers in the dust cloud when they circle around trying to get to the Blackhawk while it is taking off, without using any special equipment.
Several instances of character lines overdubbed. Lips do not match the lines, but even when lips are not visible the overdubs are very loud and obvious.
At around 5:20 to 5:30 as Clyne enters the test lab, and the camera rolls forward as they appear around a pillar, the camera operator and camera is clearly visible in the reflection of the window.
When the general briefs Mark Clyne at the beginning at the film, he mentions that insurgents are in the north near the border with Russia. Moldova has no borders with Russia, it borders Ukraine in the north.
While the locals are supposed to speak Moldovan/ Romanian, many of the lines (especially with Sari) are actually in Slovenian or other languages.
The movie takes place in Moldova, but is shot in Hungary.
this is often visible through-out the film. E.g. the Budapest church 'St. Stephen's Basilica'
is fully featured when the team first drives into the city.
The movie was said to have taken place in Moldova, but had no film footage/representation in Moldova.
In the middle of the movie the Spectrals were revealed to be walking and could be stopped by iron dusts which kept the children save. Yet at the end when the glass of the chambers broke those things could fly so the iron dusts were actually totally useless.
