Was part of the 2011 48 Hour Film Project. Writers Bressack and Citron were given a genre, prop, character name/occupation, and line of dialogue, and wrote a script from the Friday evening Oct 21st, 2011. The following Saturday and Sunday were spent shooting. On Monday 0ct 24th, 2011, the film was sent off via FedEx before the 4pm deadline.
The entire film was conceived, shot, and edited between Oct 21st, 2011 at 7pm PST and Oct 24th, 2011 at 4pm PST.
Director Kristian van der Heyden called actors in to audition in front of writers Gordon Bressack and Geoffrey A. Citron the Thursday before the script had even been written. Gordon and Geoffrey thought of the actors involved as "crayons in a box" as they wrote their script based off the auditions they saw the day before.
The entire cast and crew had met for the first time officially on set on the first day of the shoot. No one had ever worked together in the past.
The film was primarily shot in Hollywood, CA. The entire cast featured actors from the Stella Adler Academy on Hollywood and Highland and the film's opening scene was shot in one of the acting studios at Stella Adler.
