Worst movie ever
uniweirdo6 August 2019
It was so bad I mean horrible. The kids were absolute brats and horrible at acting and didn't even know how to act.and some parts you couldn't even hear what they saying cause of the loud music in the background. Not only that but the plot was trash all over the place. I do not recommend it. I wish I could give it a zero.

Horrible! Nuff Said.

Seriously??? What would make famous people participate in this mess. I understand low budget films, but come on!?! This was ridiculous. Horrible filming, horrible acting, horrible sound quality and horrible writing. At least one character clearly had problems remembering her lines. This is only a comedy because you will laugh the entire way through at how ridiculous it all is.

Honestly, do not waste your time watching this movie. It is a serious waste of time with the overacting and disconnected dialogue. Watch a movie you've watched 100 times before you choose to watch this one. I don't intend to be mean, but this movie was a travesty in the least.

Why Why Why.

We didn't get it. We rented this move for the family from Red box and deemed it a massive blunder. We could tell 15 minutes in that it would not be enjoyable, but we wanted to give it a chance, as some movies need time to get going. It became a challenge between family members to figure out how much worse it could get. It was full of bad acting, bad directing, bad chemistry, and yes...more bad acting. There were great stars in this movie...but we don't understand what happened. Wasted time, money and talent. We were quite surprised as we have enjoyed other titles by this producer/director. And what was the plot anyway??? At the end of the day...We want our $1.20 and our time back.

Not Worth Watching
greenfield123410 June 2013
My family and I just had the opportunity this past Friday night, to rent and view this movie "Who's Watching the Kids." Sadly, this movie was simply NOT worth watching at all. The storyline and script seriously lacked continuity, not to mention, that the beginning, middle and ending of the story really made no sense whatsoever. We were hoping that our family, would have been able to enjoy a 'family-oriented' film, however, what a real major disappointment.

The only reason that we laughed, was due to the terrible script, acting and directing. Yes, even though a couple of well-known talented names appeared, this movie was a 'dead-before-arrival' project from start to finish. In addition, the theme was really never established, in other words...WHAT WAS THIS MOVIE ABOUT?!

Lastly, we were curious about what the production was...are you kidding me $1 million plus, for this?! Surely, this has to be a misprint. Talk about throwing good money after bad product, this was the perfect example, of 'HOW-NOT-TO-MAKE-A-MOVIE.'

Acting is Horrible!

They sound so script! The acting is so horrible it doesn't even sound real! They must be using a real low budget movie to pull something this low! Don't waste your time on this movie!

Pheewwwwwwww!!!!
eeleyebrown2 September 2013
Id never heard of the movie but I recognized some of the names in the cast (Corey Holcomb, Lavelle Crawford, Joe Torry and they're known as very funny comedians so I figured how bad could it be? Phewwwwww!!! What a mistake. This is one of the worst movies I've had the displeasure of having to sit through.

I can't even really tell that much about the story because the screenplay was such a disorienting mess that it was hard to follow. It's supposed to be about two spoiled kids whose divorced single parents marry each other, creating a new family. Most of the story is from the kids' perspective so you see a lot of diva action from both children who are having trouble adjusting to their new environment and family. So while supposedly being watched by an uncle, they run away. Sounds like a good plot and a very common situation among black families. But the director and writer totally mishandle the screen play with a series of useless scenes and poorly-placed flashbacks that totally throw the movie off course. Not that flashbacks are bad. It's just that a good director has to know how to use it to propel the story.

The actors who signed on must have really wanted to help a brotha out here. Elise Neal is in a tiny cameo as an evil and ignorant foster mother. Her one-dimensional character is right of of a Tyler Perry movie. Comedian Lavelle Crawford has a cameo in the intro and the ending. Totally useless. He's neither funny nor necessary. The character, "Huell", who Crawford plays on Breaking Bad is more interesting and Huell has almost no lines on that show. Corey Holcomb is one of the few glimmers of hope here as the uncle who is supposed to be "watching the kids". At least he's funny but basically just doing his comedy routine without the laugh track or foul language. Could have used more of him to help save the movie. Why Joe Torry is listed I don't know. I don't recall even seeing him in the movie at all.

The kids aren't bad. Of the main young characters, Nay Nay Kirby steals whatever show there is to steal. She is vibrant and creative in her role. Im expecting to see more from her in the future. Too bad she has to have this turkey on her resume.

Great Movie!
Mark Bruno20 May 2013
Ww watched this movie last night, very funny comedy! I recommend this movie to family oriented viewers. The actor Lil King does a great job with his character! This is a thoroughly enjoyable film that delivers positive messages to society. We rented this movie on DVD from Redbox, and I don't know any other source to get this movie. The opening and closing credits are written in a simple artwork. After the movie was finished, we fast forwarded to the RAP song just before the credits. I recommend if anyone that has a family should watch this movie. Be sure and watch the RAP music "Paparazzi Fresh" just before the ending credits!
