Factual errors

Hodges reports to Sanders that the cat litter 'contained urine with alprazolam', then they engage in a discussion about why a cat would be given the antidepressant alprazolam. Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine anxiolytic used for anxiety, sleep or panic disorder, not classified as an antidepressant in any field of medicine or science. It is a central nervous system depressant.

Revealing mistakes

While Brody is investigating the living room, the content of the wine glass is poured into a specimen container and then the wine glass is placed on the side table upright. She continues to investigate the room, some of the scene cuts reveal the same wine glass on the side table upside-down and upright.

Plot holes

Several times in the first 10 minutes, the dead man is described as having been naked in the bed, BEFORE Greg pulls back the blankets to process the body and reveal how clothed he is or isn't. And second, when Greg pulls the blankets, the guy is wearing boxer shorts, yet even after that he tells Doc the guy was naked.

Character error

When Jimmy Duggan tells D.B. he doesn't know if his father had any other sons after leaving his mother, D.B. says he isn't looking for any step-siblings. A child that only shares one parent would be a half-sibling, not a step-sibling.
