Our gun, moves through various social classes, including that of a Council Woman, a drug lord, a homeless man, and many others. The gun eventually and tragically reaches the hands of the worst person that could ever have a firearm: A child. The intricate storytelling weaves together a tale of not only how this, one gun can force so many changes in peoples lives, but how those lives are interconnected and all affected by the actions of others with that type of power that comes from a gun. The rippling affect similar to dropping a stone in a pond. Though the story can seem bleak, hope is always shining though. To balance the argument, there is a unique voice that puts forth another view. The innocence of the gun, from the gun itself. Through a narrative overlay done in a poetic manor, it pleads its case with us that it is not the gun, but those who wield it.
A GUN'S LIFE is a gripping story about the human heart, desires, and what is done in the moments we wish we'd never get put into. The film will surely be a conversation piece for anyone that sees it. Both sides of this burdensome argument, will be explored in depth. The organic conversation about this film will be extreme due to the current political state and opinions towards gun control.
