Sex & Nudity

- During the course of the game, players' character can wear different costumes; one bikini-like outfit (i.e., Banana Hammock)
- Some female characters are also dressed in revealing outfits (e.g., lingerie, showgirl costumes), and players can take pictures of them to earn bonus points.
- A young woman walks over to another woman and wraps her arms around her waist. Although this is only done in one cutscene and is brief.
- A sex shop has a sex toy 'massager' can be used as a weapon. This makes for some PG-13 level humor.
- Naked mannequins both male and female are seen in some clothes shop revealing buttocks, chests and breasts.
- There's collectible magazine covers scattered around the city. There is nothing described and nothing is ever shown
Violence & Gore

- This is an incredibly violent and gory adventure.
- Players use blades, rifles, flamethrowers, chainsaws, and characters' bare hands to kill large hordes of zombies and survivor characters.
- Players can also use objects in the surrounding environment (e.g., exploding gas tanks, vehicles) and their own constructions (e.g., pitchfork-shotgun combo) to dispatch multiple enemies at once.
- You are awarded more points for creative ways of killing others.
- Red blood-splatter effects occur frequently, and blood sometimes stains the ground and surrounding walls.
- Zombies often get impaled, dismembered, decapitated and run over.
- A man falls onto a spinning saw blade.
- Chuck decapitates a zombie with his bare hands.
- A trophy/achievement can be earned for killing an amount of zombies from 1,337 to 12,000 zombies.
Profanity

- 1 F-Word and frequent use of words like "shit," "ass," "damn" and "hell."
- Name calling (bastard and bitch.)
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Some missions/challenges require players to make and drink alcoholic beverages (e.g., wine, vodka, beer and whiskey.)
- If players drink too much, their movements become erratic and they will vomit.
- Frank will need to take a drug (Zombrex) every 24 hours to slow his infection.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The zombies may scare some young players.
- Zombies can sometimes jump out of nowhere and attack you.
- Players rip apart, blow up, dismember, decapitate and run over zombies.
- Boss fights can be intense.
