Flowers and moles Warning: Spoilers
I still remember vividly several moments from this obscure Japanese stop-motion short: A dubbed version was shown on television when I was a little kid, but several scenes from it stayed in my memory.

The plot followed a little girl thinking about the possibility of moles making flowers grow, with one of her drawings being carried by the wind to a secret laboratory where a group of scientists find them, mistakingly believing the drawing is a new plan from their boss, starting to develop a series of robotic moles.

At the end, the scientists get fired and the secret laboratory is abandoned, but the robotic moles continue planting flowers in secret.

A very simple, but sweet tale for children done with a charming minimalistic aesthetic.

Rewatching it recently made me feel nostalgic; I thought I would never see it again, and I wasn't even sure if that animation had an Imdb page. So glad I had the chance to find it online.
