Goofs

Where in the World Is Carmine O'Brien?

The Mentalist

Edit

Continuity

When Annie enters the house with the shotgun, Tommy mentions telling her to "stay in the car", meaning she wasn't already in the house. But when she appears, we don't see or hear the door open as we did for Tommy.

Factual errors

Officer Price says Zubov had a blood alcohol level of 0.076, Lisbon states 0.76 is below the legal limit, leaving out a zero. 0.08% is the legal limit. 0.4% is about the level when a person would slip into a coma and possibly die from respiratory arrest. A person would surely be dead before reaching 0.76.

Plot holes

Both Chief Green and Van Pelt should have easily been able to convince Sofia Chavez to testify against Zubov, since it would make her eligible for a U visa, created in 2000 to strengthen the ability of law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute cases of domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking of noncitizens and other crimes, while also protecting victims of crimes who are willing to help law enforcement authorities in the investigation or prosecution of the criminal activity.
