- After Clementine catches her boyfriend cheating on her, her grief of being unceremoniously single takes over her life.
Clementine experiences the five stages of grief: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance. Clementine is a smart, sane, rational person who knows all of this. Or at least she used to be. She knows she will get over her now ex-boyfriend. She knows that these things happen and that she will find somebody new. Clementine knows all the advice her friends gave her and knows that she was cheated on and knows that she is better off in the long run focusing on herself and her career and that she will grow from this character-building cliché of an experience. Right now, it doesnt matter what she knows. Throughout her journey through the intense, irrational, emotional experience of a break-up, Clementine tries to keep it together with the help of her self-involved friends, the grace of alcohol, and reassurances of one truly supportive cat.
Join Clementine as the five stages of grief force her to deal with loss and to gain her independence. When insanity is the only way back to sanity.
