Makes You Feel Good Kinda Film
anne-bui31 January 2012
I have seen a few of this particular producer/director/writer's short films and I happen to know first hand how creative and ingenious he is. He directs a broad range of film genres which proves the depth of his talent.

This film, The Magic Hourglass, specifically is quite witty. There are plenty of jokes and puns which made me laugh throughout the film and I ended up with my cheeks hurting. What is also great about this piece is that it kind of reminds you of present day Robin Hood and if a film can evoke memories/stories from your past (childhood), that is a plus.

I highly recommend this film and many films related to Robert Rollins.

Truly enjoyable twist on Robin Hood!

A modern, light-hearted spin on the renowned tale of Robin Hood, this is one of those films that I would want to add to my home collection so as to be able to watch it over and over again. With an entertaining script and characters that I could easily relate to, this production truly captivated my undivided attention. As the tale followed Arn's and Ed's ventures through the Sherwood Forest, I not only encountered an entertaining plot line, but was also drawn to Ed's undeniable boyish charm.

Robert Rollins's creativity and imagination shines through in this film. I sincerely recommend watching it and allowing it to take you on a comical journey through the Sherwood Forest.

Well done and quite enjoyable

I am a big fan of this film and its story line. Robert Rollins, does a wonderful job of introducing the characters and keeping his audience captive as the story unfolds.

The Magic Hourglass is bursting with witty anecdotes and tongue in cheek satire as it retells the story of Robin Hood. You will find yourself both hoping that it is just a dream for Arn's sake and a real come to life adventure for Ed's sake. Truly enjoyable! I have had the privilege of watching Robert evolve into an artistically talented story teller and this film proves just that.

I highly recommend this film.
