Of course, Chloe is just too good at being super-cool. But June, again, is too soft-hearted. However much I look at it, though, June gets all the approval, even if she is way unrealistic.
In this episode: It is revealed that Chloe is the muse for a big-in- Japan graphic novel named "Tall Slut No Panties," about a super-cool heroine, which reminds June of her own childhood creation "Trina and Sissie" which chronicled two loser geeky girls. As usual, Chloe is dead- set in her ways, but shows a little bit of vulnerability for once, her fear of being forgotten. Insecurity theme echoed by James' altercation with Luther re the smaller room as opposed to Dean Cain's, and the whole importance of friendship thing also echoed there.

Goodbye to the first season! If you are watching on DVD, the box with witchy vamp Chloe offering the apple, then you will know this is hardly the seventh episode. And you would also have the wonderful knowledge that it is not over yet. Short-lived, relatively speaking, considering the many other shows that plod on in their lumbering ways to have lots and lots of seasons, but, aw, who cares about them? This show is cool, cute, wickedly funny, charming, with highly likable characters. There should, at the very least, have been a third season. I'm only here at this episode, haven't seen anything up ahead, but I just know, there will be a continued craving for this after that final episode of the next season.
They're both spectacular. Dreama, as June, as cute as a little Pekinese dog, and Krysten Ritter, the vampy socialite Chloe. And they're both in their zone, they are their characters, it is just such fun to watch!
I can only sit here ooh-ing and ah-ing.
The entire season carries my highest recommendation, and I suspect that the second season will be just as great.
It's up to you what you do with my advice. But if you like madcap, zany, and often naughty, fun, this show is just the ticket.
