- TriviaSgt Durrant says the stop and search conducted by PC Jarvis was of a George Stubbs. George Stubbs is an 18th Century painter, his most famous work "Whistlejacket" is in The National Gallery in London.
- GoofsAt, 30.40, the newspaper clip in the suspect policeman's house shows the headline "Under Seige". Does nobody check spelling??? (FYI it should have been Siege - I before E except after c - Ok, the s in siege sounds like a c!).
Featured review
It's been a slog, and this was a damp squib.
Vivienne is confronted Billie as to why she's so detached about the death of her ex husband, meanwhile the killer tries to cover their tracks.
Something has been off with this third series, and I can't put my finger on it, is it the vibe, the story, the acting, or the production in general, I'm not sure what it is, but I've found this third run a bit of a slot, this fifth and final episode was perhaps the lowest point so far.
Were they trying to do a cut priced, daytime version of Line of Duty, that's what this third series has felt like, an u know criminal mastermind at the top of a web manipulating all around him, whilst remaining hidden in the shadows.
I will credit them for tying up the loose strands, and for at least giving some sort of resolution, I'm just not sure it worked.
Benjamin O'Mahony was the standout as Sgt Ian Durrant, he made it interesting.
It surprises me to see that it's coming back for series four. This series was a drag.
5/10.
