The 26 survivors hid in a makeshift basement for almost 9 month until Minsk was liberated by the reds.
Though the movie is mostly done in drawing it's not too harrowing on the one side and not too cheesy on the other so for me it was at the powerful middle to talk about such a painful time.
Still can't get out of my head the girl the protagonist was playing with, did she survive or was she 1 of the people who died in that basement?
