The priest Hans Egede is obsessed with the thought of traveling to Greenland for his missionary conquest. He knows that the natives in Greenland has no faith in God, so in 1721 he sails out on the dangerous waters of the Atlantic Ocean. But upon he's arrival, Inuit is not at all enthusiastic about his presence, in fact, Inuit already has their own faith, and it evolves into a dramatic meeting between two very different cultures and different ways of seeing the world.
