Gaëlle Darbon is driving her jeep through the woods when she notices a fire and the corpse of a male with post-mortem mutilations on his hands and head, which have been burned. First investigations indicate the body could be that of Juan Soto, a Spanish seasonal worker, since the body was found between the public forest and the land of the Darbon family. At the crime scene, Léa meets Zoe Marvaud, sister of coroner Franck, who works at the ONF. Léa and Alice reconcile thanks to the intervention of Paul, who is still living at his ex's house.
