- It's the Boss Baby's birthday, and he's celebrating like an adult. There's just one problem: He still needs Carol to push his stroller around Chicago.
- The episode begins with Teddy waking up and is excited for his birthday, before remembering that he is still in baby form and becomes saddened by this. Once downstairs, Carol says happy birthday to him and Tim, Tabitha and Tina sing him a birthday song, before placing him at the table next to his cake and candle. Teddy then declares he is not in the mood, but blows out the candle, only for it to relight itself. Eventually, Teddy grabs Carol's coffee cup and pours the coffee all over the candle to keep it out. Teddy then reminisces about his birthdays when he was an adult and Tabitha looks up a montage of all his birthday traditions. Suddenly, Tim says that the FBI are after adult Teddy, but baby Teddy can roam around Chicago and not be recognized. Tim then says that they could go on a "brothers road trip", before going to get the snacks and burns his hands on the tray. Teddy is still desperate to go and Tabitha suggests that Carol could go with him, to which Carol and Teddy both disagree. The next shot however, is of Carol driving and Teddy in a high chair in the back of the car. Teddy then comes up with a bunch of nicknames for Chicago and Carol turns on some music instead. Unfortunately, Teddy is not impressed and suggests they play a CD he is holding called his "birthday mix". Carol puts in the disk and finds it really boring, before changing over the songs and Teddy tries to get the disk back on by crying, before slingshotting something at the player. When Carol tells him off, Teddy goes on about what being a "marksman" means and Carol puts in another CD, which plays a lullaby and Teddy falls asleep. When Teddy wakes up, they are in Chicago and Carol asks where to first. The first destination is Milton Livrees Clothing Emporium. Carol is about to talk to Milton, before realizing that baby Teddy isn't supposed to talk. Carol is about to leave, when Teddy grabs something from a chair, flipping the stroller and Milton comes back and asks Carol to keep him under control. Carol agrees to stay. She lays Teddy down and Milton starts taking Teddy's measurements. Carol follows Teddy's instructions, but unfortunately gets everything wrong. Teddy confronts Carol about this. When Milton measures Teddy's feet, he kicks him and Milton asks them to leave, but after Carol tells him that it's Teddy's birthday, he forgives them and says that the cost would be 9000. Carol only has a 5 however and they leave with a flat suit with a drawn on tie. Teddy throws away the suit, before heading into a fancy restaurant. Teddy is impressed, until he realizes that they are sat at the cheap table. Once sat at the table, Carol and Teddy start to argue, before the waiter arrives with the menus. When Teddy reads the menu he says he wants two of everything, but Carol doesn't want to pay for $60 steaks and tells him to pick one, so Teddy chooses the most expensive item on the menu, the Wagyu T-bone. Carol feeds Teddy one bite and he is immediately full, which annoys both him and Carol. He then declares it is all Carols and she wants the steak put back on the grill, which Teddy immediately rejects and the two start arguing again, before getting kicked out of the restaurant. Back on the streets, Carol says that Teddy never stopped being a baby, even as an adult. She is about to get in the car and go home, before Teddy snatches the keys and tells Carol that he wants to go to an Improv show (the one tradition he cares about the most). Carol walks towards the entrance, when she is stopped and is told "no outside food or drink allowed", even the special formula that keeps Teddy as a baby. Teddy says to leave everything and they go inside. Teddy admires the atmosphere, before realizing Bradley, the guy who framed him for embezzlement is at the show and he thinks Carol is a waitress. Carol suggests they play a prank on him and Teddy calls him, using Carols phone. Unfortunately, the improvisers come onto the stage and their voices echo through the phone. Bradley then says that he has invited the agents to come to the show. The agents start looking around for Teddy. Bradley is also looking for Teddy and yells "where are you bro? Give yourself up!" and the improvisers start to perform that. Whilst Teddy is enjoying the show, Carol is worried and claims he will be found if they don't get out of there, but rethinks that decision, as leaving would look even more suspicious. Teddy then notices that the agents are checking the tables in a specific order and suggests moving to the one behind, in the hope that the agents might think they have already checked their ID's, so Teddy and Carol start to crawl towards a table. They make it but the agents come towards them anyway, but before they make it, the improvisers get in the agents way, allowing Teddy and Carol to escape. They enter another room and Teddy notices that his hands are growing, causing Carol to trip onto the stage lights control box, turning the stage lights on. Carol then looks through some suits, as Teddy, now back as an adult says that the special formula doesn't work isn't an exact science. The agents knock on the door, but before they can enter, Teddy notices a ladder, leading to an escape route. Teddy then swings across to the exit, causing Carol to fall, right in front of the agents and Carol covers her face. Suddenly, Teddy enters the stage as "Detective Backwards Man" and points Carol to the exit. As the agents draw closer to Carol, Teddy reveals himself and apologizes for "ruining the show", before the improvisers say he is Teddy Templeton and the audience gather round him, once again blocking the agents path. Now backstage, Teddy and the improvisers discuss ways to get Teddy out, before Carol enters with a steak for the improvisers, which the improvisers eat and then re-enter the stage. The agents then burst open the door and see Carol standing there, pretending to be a waitress, before revealing that Teddy is back in baby form. Carol then drives Teddy to his favorite pizza place, which excites him, until they realize that it is closed for the weekend and Teddy begins to cry, but Carol tells him that everything will be alright.
