I truly love Glee since the beginning. It is well written, original, modern and with a very good cast. Season 3 has started well with Blaine going to McKinley, Rory joining the group, Sam coming back and with good conflicts. But the characters Rory, except for his first episode and Sugar, in all episodes were disconnected, the actors are fine, but where do their characters stand? Also, since the Christmas show, which was great, the plot seemed to be going to the surface. The conflicts are good, but treated shallow. It seems the show is at a crossroads: not giving the senior characters the chance of a good closure and not showing what the new ones are there for. It is lost in the middle of a big change of characters leaving Glee and new ones arriving. Hearts had four great things: Rachel's dads, the arrival of the new kid, great music, especially ones that the new kid sang and the return of Blaine, who is clearly the one they should rely on if they are going to season 4, which I hope they will. Darren Criss is a good actor and a great performer, and Blaine a great character. So, I hope it will get deeper as it was before: great conflicts well aligned with great songs. Hearts was the episode I liked the least: music and drama not as connected as before. PS: it does seem that they are preparing replacements for Sue and Will, maybe with Ross and David Martinez??
