Throughout, the narrator pronounces the dinosaur name "Troodon" as TRUE-DON. Its correct pronunciation has an extra syllable: TROH-UH-DON.
All of the show's Troodon models inexplicably lack their characteristic arm feathers and tail feathers.
The feathered dinosaur Sinornithosaurus is shown as having a venomous bite. However, this hypothesis was debunked years before the show came out, and most scientists think it was based on incorrect assumptions. For example, the "venom glands" above the animal's teeth probably were simply its tooth sockets which the teeth have come out of during fossilization.
Throughout the show, the wing feathers of all the feathered dinosaurs are incorrectly attached to their third fingers, when in real life these grew out of their middle (second) digits.
