Without the past there is no future
fullvedo24 February 2012
I live in Sarajevo and was a part of the whole story, to young to understand it at that time, but movies like this are learning myself the importance to see in the past to better understand the future.

The story in this movie is incredible touching, pointing out the main objective of this war, to destroy every written document about Bosnian nationality and its deep history.

If you want to learn about important things that are not pointed out enough, see this movie. If you are a pacifist, see this movie. If you want to see unity in action, see this movie. If you want to see multiculturalism in action, see this movie.

The best documentary I've ever seen
Mirza-480-15575919 September 2012
There are a whole bunch of really nice subtle aspects to this documentary that have been really well captured. Photography in it is very good and brilliantly executed. Music is very appropriate and well suited to the mood and I just watched the whole thing in one breath. Amazing work! Deserves many more awards in my opinion. The content of this documentary is also of very important nature and hugely informative about Bosnia as a country and what happened in it during the war. I'm going to try and re-watch it on a big screen somewhere again and take notes while watching. As a Bosnian person this documentary made me cry in the end and showed me (once again) that there are so many great qualities to Bosnian people of all religions who are still happily living there today.
