Synopsis

  • E is talking to a director named Moonves to pick up the movie written by Vince for Drama. During his Vanity Fair photo shoot, Vince reads the article for his interview. Sophia has written that Vince uses his perceived respect for women to get them into bed. Vince is rattled after reading it. He leaves the photo shoot in the middle to confront Sophia. Vince tells Sophia that he opened to her and she mocked him in her article. Sophia says that she can't change the article even if she wanted to and wants to know why Vince wants to change her opinion of him.

Turtle starts to bring his favorite East Coast restaurant (Don Pepe's) to Hollywood (with the money he got from selling his Tequila business), and even gives the owners a first-class treatment, first class tickets, Beverly Hills hotel suite, Laker tickets and so on. The owners Gina Deluca (Elizabeth Regen) & John DeLuca (Sonny Marinelli) are Vince and Turtle's friends from back East. They are only interested in meeting celebrities in LA. They are disappointed to know that Vince is not involved in the project as Turtle is trying to make it on his own. They don't want to look at Turtle's business plan or the site he has selected for the restaurant. They want to be driven to the Lakers game in a limo.

Eric gets an expensive gift from Melinda (a $300,000 Mercedes SLS), as well as news about one of his other new clients. An actor named Johnny Galecki sees E having lunch with Melinda and walks over to basically tell E that he is having sex with Sloan now. E tells Scott to fire Johnny Galecki, who is his client.

Drama faces pressure from Billy, Phil, and Andrew Dice Clay over his going on strike. Drama gets called by Billy who tells Drama that he needs the pay check for his 5 kids. Lloyd tells Drama that Network has given Drama till end of the day to decide, else they will pull the plug on the show. Drama talks to Dice, who tells Drama to stay strong and not cave under the pressure. If Drama stays strong, the network will make a deal. Then Phil calls Drama to tell him that Moonves is Phil's best friend & he will make sure that the movie never gets made anywhere in Hollywood if Drama doesn't come back to work. Drama decides to stick to his guns & gets the news from Andrew that the network caved and made a deal. The Johnny Bananas show is back on.

Ari also faces pressure regarding his divorce, then confronts Melissa over the fact that he's never hidden his true nature from her. Ari's lawyer has told Ari that he will need to return the $ 11 M that she has put into his business. Its money that Ari doesn't have and that could mean Ari having to sell his stake in his own agency.

Ari tries to get Barbara to write him a check, but she wants a majority stake in the firm for that. Ari decides to speak directly to his wife but finds that Bobby Flay is in the house. He breaks up & leaves the house.
