Vinnie Jones, Gina Philips, Holt McCallany, Dominic Purcell, Randy Couture, and Tiffany Dupont in Hijacked (2012)

Goofs

Hijacked

Edit

Factual errors

Early in the movie there is a news report stating "a trove of arms from German military forces were discovered in Pakistan". While the reporter specifically says "German military" equipment it shows British SA80 rifles as the supposed German military equipment. Germans do not use the British SA80 rifle platform, instead using their own weapons manufactured in-country.
While at CIA's Paris HQ, agent Paul Ross is shown some info from a hard drive recovered during an operation (gone bad). It shows that someone has collected data about Bruce Lieb's plane, crew, etc. The plane shown is an McDonnell Douglas MD-11, but when we get to see Bruce's plane, shortly after, at the airport, it is a Boeing B-747.
Near the end of the film one hears the Captain say, «Gear down», then he pulls the lever and one hears the gear going down (I doubt that would be possible to hear), but as the camera shows the plane in flight right after, there is no landing gear in sight.
At 26:40, the captain asks for pushback and the copilot calls "DeGaulle tower". In real life, Ground controllers handle taxiing aircraft whereas the Tower controls landings and takeoffs.

Miscellaneous

At 01:05:45, the co-pilot pushed forward on the yoke which should bring the nose down and start a descent. But instead, the outside view shows the airplane banking left with no change in altitude. And the next shot shows the altitude readout device in the cargo compartment indicating a descent.

Errors in geography

The private 747 is supposed to be departing from Paris Charles De Gaulle airport. However, in the shot where the aircraft's wheels are being raised, the number '34' is seen painted on the end of the runway; indicating that the aircraft is departing from runway 16/34. There is no such runway in CDG; they are all east/west orientated (08L/26R, 08R/26L, 09L/27R and 09R/27L)

Plot holes

At the end, Paul Ross states that billionaire Bruce Leib had left his luxury plane before take-off. This is refuted by the fact that Bruce Leib was clearly on the plane after it was hijacked in mid-air, and spoke to the leader of the hijackers from his secure quarters on the plane and witnessed the murder of his hostage sister from there.
