- Lana stares up at Clark, and he drops down to the road. She wonders how people, including herself, never put it together, and Clark tells her that people only see who they want to see. Clark says that he had powers since they were kids, and Lana remembers their childhood together and figures all the strange stuff happened there because of him, including the car accident that he saved her and Pete from. Lana points out that he hurt her by leaving, and Clark explains that he left to become Superman. By the time he came back for her, she was with Kyle. She asks if Clark ever loved her, and Clark says that he always did. Lana says that she has to go and walks away.
Later at the farm, Clark tells the others what happened. Jordan asks questions about how Lana reacted, and Lois finally tells him to get ready for school. Clark and Lois both point out that Jon is probably the safest of them, and his bizarre self won't be the last of Ally's "horsemen". They insist on Jon and Jordan going to school, and afterward Lois figures that they should warn their Lana before Bizarro Ally sends Lana Rho. Lois says that she'll try to smooth things over with Lana, while Clark tries to figure out what Ally's next move is. Clark goes to drop their son off at school, and Lois warns her husband that it will take Lana while to wrap her head around the news that Clark is Superman.
At school, Sarah walks past Jordan and Nat in the hallway. At Jordan's insistence, Natalie finally calls to Sarah. Sarah responds but then keeps on going without paying Jordan any attention. Jon is nearby at his locker, and his teammates come over and tease him, asking if he's figured out a way to get the baseball season canceled yet since he ruined football. Jon points out that he didn't snitch on them for using the drug, and says that none of it matters and even high school doesn't matter. Jordan tries to stop his brother, but Jon continues, and Jordan and Nat finally blame Jon's concerns on climate change concern. The others walk off, and Nat tells Jon that maybe he shouldn't be at school and leads him off. Jordan follows them off as they skip.
At the diner, Lana considers all of the times she met with Superman without knowing he was Clark. Kyle sits down and asks how things went with Sarah and her new car. Lana assures him that their daughter liked their present, but they didn't have a chance to take it for a spin. She gets a text from Lois asking to meet at the farm, and asks Kyle to pick up their daughters from school. He agrees, and Lana leaves.
Bizarro Jon is in his government red sun cell, and Superman comes to talk to him. Jon says that his family wasn't supportive, and Superman tells him that the bad decisions are on him. The boy isn't impressed and asks if Superman came there just to tell him that, and Superman wants to give Jon the chance to make up for the harm he's done by helping Superman save both their worlds, by stopping Ally. Jon tells Superman that if his father had talked to him, maybe he'd be on Superman's side. But he didn't. Jon says that Ally is going to save the world, and Superman can't destroy the pendant. When his Ally realizes that he isn't coming back, she'll come there and take what is rightfully hers. The people on Jon's Earth will merge with the people on Superman's Earth, and there's nothing Superman can do to stop it.
Superman goes to meet with Sam and John, who are examining the pendant. They report that that it would take more energy to destroy then ever Superman has. However, they show Superman their plans to destroy the portal. Superman warns that it will keep them from getting back to the Bizarro Earth, and the people there are at Ally's mercy. John and Sam don't see superman's concern, but Superman insists that there's always another way and they're going to find it.
Lana arrives at the farm and tells Lois that she had to lie to Kyle to get there, and Lois has no idea what she's going through. She says that she isn't mad at Clark, and understands why Clark didn't tell her the truth. Lana tells Lois that she's mad at Lois, who sought her out when Lois came to Smallville and sought Lana out. She tells Lois that she called Lois when her marriage fell apart, and kept secrets from Lana about Clark. Lois says that it wasn't her secret to share, but Lana figures their friendship was built on a lie, and there's nothing real between them. When Lois insists that it isn't true and she doesn't feel that way, Lana says that it's how she feel and Lois has made her a liar as well. With that, Lana leaves.
Nat takes Jon and Jordan her bedroom, swears them to secrecy, and shows them the "kill suit" that she's working on it. She figures Jon needs it more than she does, and it will keep him from merging. Nat needs a key component to power the suit, and their help to get the component.
Tal is in his cell reading about Sutter's Mill, and Superman comes to see him. As Tal talks about how the Mill sparked the largest migration in American history, Superman talks about Bizarro Tal and how he helped saved his counterpart son. He says that maybe he can trust Tal if Tal helps him destroy Ally's pendant. Tal wonders what he'll get in return, and finally says that he wants his brother back. He figures nothing he ever does will be enough, and he has to convince someone other than Superman.
Clark returns home, and Lois tells him that Lana hates her more than Clark. She figures Lana is holding her to a higher standard, but Clark cuts her off and takes her to the living room where Tal is waiting with flowers. Tal says that he's there to make amends, and Clark asks his wife to hear Tal out. He says that his father set him on a painful child when he was a child, and thought if he could fulfill his dreams then he could fulfill his own. Tal promises that he'll never hurt Lois or anyone she loves again.
Clark hears Sam and John approaching, and figures they have to get Tal out of there. Lois tells Tal that he's not going anywhere. John and Sam come in and find Tal there, and are furious that Clark told Tal what they told Clark. Clark says that he had no choice, and he asks them to trust him. Lois finally yells at them that it's the only choice they have, and every moment they spend arguing puts their loved ones at risk from Ally. She tells them to figure it out, and has something she has to do and leaves.
Nat takes Jon and Jordan to a cavern near the mine to get XK to power her cell. She follows the energy signature to a huge lode of the crystals.

Sarah points out that Lana went for a six-hour walk the previous day, but doesn't know what's going on with Lana. Accepting that he won't get answers, Kyle drives off to pick up his Sophie.
In the caverns, Kyle figures that they should head back before their parents start texting them. Nat figures they need more crystals, and Jordan uses his heat vision to burn more crystals out of the cavern walls. The headed-up crystals start cracking the walls, and the teenagers run. When a cave-in starts to block their way, Jordan gets them out at superspeed. However, Nat realize they left the bag with the mined XK behind.
John uses his laptop to calculate that Clark and Tal together can generate enough power to destroy the pendant. Sam tosses Clark the pendant, and Tal asks them to remove his kryptonite handcuffs first.
Kyle finds Sarah at his apartment playing her guitar, and says that she's writing songs to work through her rage. Her father asks if Lana was with a guy during her six-hour walk, and asks if Lana is dating someone. Sarah tells Kyle to ask Lana, and she's dealing with her own breakup. Kyle goes to get Sophie and leaves. Outside, Kyle calls Tanya, gets her voice mail, and asks her to call him when she gets the chance.
Lois goes to see Lana at the latter's office and tells Lana that she's sorry, and Lana was right about her being selfish. She never had friends in Metropolis, made friends with Lana when she came to Smallville, and didn't want to give up that friendship. She tells Lana that there's more she needs to know, and it's up to Lana whether she tells her family. Lois tells Lana that Jordan takes after her father.
Superman and Tal fly to a volcano, toss the pendant on a rock, and train the heat vision on it, Ally arrives and blocks their heat vision, and says she's taking back what's hers. Tal flies at Ally, but she casually stops him, absorbs energy from him, knocks him back, and flies out of the volcano. Superman warns John and Sam what is happening, and tells them that they have to stop Ally before she gets through the portal.
John powers up his suit and gets into it, while Ally ambushes Superman in the sky and uses the same draining on him. Steel flies up and throws his hammer at Ally, knocking her back and the pendant out of her hand. Superman grabs the pendant and flies back to the volcano, and he and Steel join Tal there. The two brothers concentrate their heat vision on the pendant and manage to destroy it. Ally arrives and picks up the shattered pieces of the pendant, then flies off with them. Superman and Steel discover that Tal has slipped away.
Later at the farm, the men explain to Lois how Ally was draining Superman's power. Lois points out that Tal risked his life twice to save them. Sam wonders how they stop someone as powerful as Superman.

Sarah wonders if Lana is seeing someone, and Lana tells her daughter that she isn't. The girl says that if Lana is over Kyle Lana should tell him. Lana explains that she's not dating anyone, and Sarah points out that her mother has been acting kind of weird. Considering, Lana sits Sarah down. Before she can say what she knows about Jordan. Sophie comes in and asks Sarah to watch a new video with her. Lana reconsiders and only tells Sarah that an internship is available in her office. Sarah asks for time to think about it, and Clark and Lois arrive at their door. Clark asks Lana if they can speak to her in private.
Jon, Jordan, and Nat go to the garage talk about their near-death experience in the cavern. John comes in and wonders what's happening, and asks how school is. He then says that he and Clark have destroyed the pendant, and Ally can't force anyone else to merge. Nat goes to make supper with her father, and Jordan texts Sarah. She picks up her phone when she gets a text from Kyle inviting her to go out with him, and goes to tell Lana. Sarah finds Lana with Clark and Lois. She says that she's going out with Kyle. Once she leaves, Lois asks Lana if she told Sarah. Lana says that she couldn't and can't ask Sarah to lie to Sophie or Kyle, because it's not fair to Sarah. Lois agrees, and Cark assures Lana that she won't let her doppelganger hurt her. Lois admits that they don't know if Smallville is in danger, but they just wanted Lana to know what they know. Lana appreciates their honesty, and says that she'll get over her hurt but isn't mad at them. However, Lana doesn't want the Kents in her life so she won't feel like she's lying to her family all the time, and it would be easier for everyone if they make a clean break. Lois objects, but Lana says that's the way it has to be.
Kyle takes Sarah to the bar and tells his daughter that Tonya doesn't work there. It's open-mic night, and he wants to help launch Sarah's singing as the "next big thing". Kyle encourages Sarah to go up and sing, and Sarah does and starts singing. Everyone is impressed.
