- Asta is overwhelmed with guilt after she, Harry, and D'arcy get rid of the dead body.
- D'arcy helps Harry and Asta get rid of the dead man who shot Harry when he was alive. While Asta deal with her feelings of guilt for shooting the man dead, Ben tries to get the police in Jessup to take over the crime so Patience doesn't become "Murder Town USA".—Gislef
- Asta looks at the man she just killed, and D'arcy asks her what happened. Harry says that the man shot him, and Asta mumbles that it's really bad. They hear Mike approaching, and he comes to the clearing, gun out, and asks what they're doing out there as they stand between him and the body so he can't see it. Asta claims that she shot a raccoon, and when Mike points out that he heard two different calibers, Harry says that he was still celebrating. D'arcy says that she heard owls and came looking for them, and goes with Mike.
Once they're alone, Harry and Asta both say that they're not okay. Out in the lake, men are watching from a boat, having seen the shooting. The alien baby jumps on both of them, knocking them overboard.
Back at the cabin, Asta tends to Harry's gunshot wound. She points out that he's turning weaker, and Harry says that she needs to take the bullet out so he can heal faster. Asta takes the bullet out, D'arcy comes in and confirms that everyone is gone, and Harry says that the man Asta shot killed Sam. They tell her about how they ran into the man in NYC when they went looking for clues, and Asta figures that they have to tell the police what happened, and that it was self-defense. Harry points out that if they tell the police, the bad people will now what Asta did, and would come to kill her and her entire family.
D'arcy wonders why Asta didn't tell her what was going on, and Harry "helpfully" says that Asta didn't want D'arcy to know. She tells Asta that now she's going to protect her, and tells Asta to stay with Harry and they've got it. Once D'arcy leaves, Asta asks if D'arcy is going to be okay with the alien baby in the forest. Harry tells her that the gunshots scar the baby into the lake, and Harry confirms that if the bullet had hit his heart, he would have died in his human body. He thanks Asta for saving him, and figures since he doesn't like the feeling of almost dying, he'll ignore it.
D'arcy searches the body and finds a key beeper that activates his nearby car. She goes back to the cabin, and tells Harry and Asta that she found the dead man's body. She says that they have to plant the body, and shows them the dead man's hotel keys. He was staying at a motel at the edge of town with no security cameras, and they can plant the body there. D'arcy knows how to plant the body in the motel room and cover up their tracks, all from what she learned on 'CSI'. She goes to move the dead man's car, and Harry figures they should plant the medical records on the dead man and clear his own name. Asta points out that she still killed him, but Harry says that he'll accept Ben's offer to be the town doctor and fake the autopsy so Asta is in the clear.
Judy is at the motel reading a book for her audiobook podcast, and D'arcy comes in as Judy continues. D'arcy distracts Judy with deviled eggs from the party while Harry and Asta carry the body to the hot tub and dump it in.
The next day, Judy leaves the model and sees the body floating in the hot tub. She finally works out that he's dead.
David wakes up on the side of the lake. He discovers that his gunshot wound has healed, and he still has the alien ball. Eleanor tells him to come with her, and says that the men who shot him are after both of them with dogs, as they hear the dogs barking in the distance. They both run off.
At the station, Mike and Liv go over what they know about the Galvan-Powell Group. It's a multinational conglomerate with businesses all over the world, and all the names they found in Sam's office are top men who work for the Group. Liv wonders if they had something to do with Sam's death, and Mike figures they're privileged rich men who all killed Sam. Meanwhile, Harry goes to Ben's office and tells him that he's accepting the job of town doctor. However, Harry has some conditions, including having Ellen "capital punished" if she steals granola bars from his desk. Ben refuses, and Harry quickly accepts when the police announce they found a body at the motel.
At the motel, Liv questions Judy, who says that she saw the dead man talking to two men in a van. Judy has an audio book for Mike, and says that she didn't hear anything. Liv asks Judy how the deviled eggs were. Harry and Ben arrived, and Ben says that the hot tub is over the county in Jessup, so it's a Jessup murder. Mike points out that the shooter might have been on the Patience side, and Judy confirms that the motel doesn't have security cameras and flirts with Mike. Mike figures that it's a Patience crime and he should investigate, while Harry says that he'll do the autopsy. Liv reports that the dead man's name was on the list of names in Sam's office, and Corrington had a gun in his jacket.
Ben calls and uses a fake name to report a murder in Jessup.
Later at the clinic, Harry meets with his "new" patients. Harry is still dealing with his feelings about almost dying, and police officers bring in Corrington's body. Asta is consumed with guilt, and goes to the bar and asks D'arcy how she's supposed to deal with the guilt. D'arcy says that Asta should live her life as normal, and Harry is kind of shady because he moved a body. Asta points out that they did as well, and D'arcy says that they made it look cool. Asta thinks they should tell Liv, and D'arcy says that if Asta does, more bad guys will come after Asta, including her family.
At the motel, Liv confirms that none of the other guests heard gunshots. They haven't found the gun, either. Mike thinks Corrington was killed with an ice gun so a Tibetan monk must have done it. Liv figures that it was a regular gun, and Mike congratulates her on thinking inside the box. A tow truck pulls up, and Detective Lena Torres comes up and says that she ordered the tow truck, and says that it's her crime scene because the body was found in a hot tape in her town. Mike isn't happy to have Torres there, and Torres says that she'll loop Mike in if she needs his help.
Ben comes in to see Harry about his therapy session. Ben figures that Harry is acting indifferent to get him to open up, and Harry tells the mayor that he's really indifferent. Kate joins them and apologizes with having sex with Ben in the bathroom during the party. Ben explains that Kate thought they should have therapy together, and Harry "helpfully" says that Ben has told her all the things he hates about Kate's cooking. He tells them not to talk to him, and they figure Harry wants them to talk directly to each other. The couple talk about their issues, and Ben rambles on. She says that they have to talk about her being pregnant. Harry prepares to jump in when Kate stops talking so he can do the fake autopsy, but she doesn't stop.
Finally the session stops. After Kate leaves, Ben asks Harry if he thinks it went well. Harry says that he doesn't know, and Torres's officers take the body away. Harry isn't happy, because now he can't do the fake autopsy. Ben is, since now Jessup is Murder Town.
At the station in a closet, Liv is recording a message to the Alien Tracker about her seeing an UFO. Mike barges in, and Liv explains what she's doing. Mike agrees that it's logic and gets some post-it notes, then leaves as Liv checks her phone. She gets an automated message from the Alien Tracker's people with his upcoming tour dates.
That night, Harry looks for the alien baby on the alien shore and puts out food to attract it, so he can get the rest of Goliath's message. He also figures he has to figure out a way to do the autopsy so Asta doesn't get arrested. Ben arrives with beer to celebrate Harry's first day on the job, and wants to spend time with just the guys. He insists on going into the cabin.
D'arcy and Elliott have dinner at the diner, and they flirt with each other. She apologizes for standing Elliott up now, and he points out that she seems distracted. Dan comes over and says that Elliott waited for D'arcy for three characters, and he respects Elliott for doing it. Once the owner leaves, D'arcy tells Elliott that she's happy to be there, and feels like she doesn't deserve nice things and Elliott is a nice things. He takes her hand and they kiss.
Ben and Harry drink and Ben talks about Kate's cooking. Harry tries to get Ben to move the autopsy to Patience, but Ben refuses. He then talks about his potential modeling career, and refuses to let Harry change topics to get the autopsy to Patience. Ben passes out on the couch, and Harry goes to the murder scene, and picks up the shell casing from Asta's rifle so he can move the autopsy to Patience. He finds Carrington's bullet and remembers being shot, throws it away, and figures that he's fine. Harry throws the casing away, figuring everything is fine.
The baby takes a component up to the highway, drops it, and runs off.
The next day, Torres goes to the motel and finds Harry, Mike, and Liv waiting for her. Harry says that he has a working theory and they go to the hot tube. He then says that the killer took the shot from the nearby woods, and knocked Corrington into the tub. Judy demonstrates, falling into the water. One of Mike's men finds the shell, and Liv points out that the shell is on the Patience side. Torres says that Harry can take the autopsy, and figures she and Mike can work together. Harry is very happy to do the autopsy, and Judy strips off her clothes and soaks in the hot tube.
Asta goes to the station to confess. Liv comes out to greet her, and when Dan walks by, Asta remembers what Harry said about the killers coming after her family. She only tells Liv that she's happy with the polices' hard work, hugs the deputy, and leaves.
David and Wright hide out in an abandoned house, Wright goes out to get groceries. When she comes back, she tells David that there must be a mole in her organization who told the sniper they were meeting. Wright figures that David is the only one who can't be the mole, but wonders if she can trust him. She says that she drugged him and found the alien ball, and he points out that he can't trust her. Wright says that they're on the same side, because they have an unknown common enemy. She then leaves, and David wonders if she's going to drug him again.
Harry performs the autopsy on Corrington. Asta joins him, and Harry quotes a fake autopsy while a guilt-ridden Asta writes it down and Harry describes what they did in graphic detail. She finally cracks and walks out to Harry's office. He comes after her and Asta wonders how she can live the rest of her life with the guilt, and says that she can't do it. Harry feels her pain, and wishes she would push the guilt away. She takes his memories of the night away
Jay waits at the diner, for Asta to arrive for her birthday as promised. Asta never shows.
