Quizmaster is an offbeat comedy set in the peculiarly British world of dark and dingy pub quizzes. Bill is the Quizmaster. His hosting style has more in common with Hans Gruber than Chris Tarrant. If people come to his quizzes looking for a fun night out, that's their business, not his. One evening he steps into the Grave Maurice pub, another night, another set of chancers, cheaters and ignorami for Bill to crush. But tonight it's different, tonight there's a lone contestant who seems able to answer everything Bill can throw at him. Desperate times call for desperate measures, but how far will Bill go in his attempt to defeat The Stranger in their surreal battle of wills?—Anonymous
