A Passionette film exploring New York City's Surfing culture from the early 1950's into the modern era of the ever changing Rockaway of Queens NYC. We talk to local legends, show vintage footage of surfers from the Late 1960's with a sub-plot of what happened to the Rockaways over the years and how it went from being a playground of the wealthy to troubled destitution. We exploit the changes modern surfers are bringing to the area & show how it is effecting the economy of a paradise just 2 blocks from the NYC subway system.
