This week on Where Monsters Dwell the guys welcome Hope Nicholson to the Monster Cave. Hope is one of the two driving forces behind the successful Kickstarter campaign to recover and reprint Nelvana of the Northern Lights; Canada’s first superheroine, one of the very first female superheroes ever created, and one of the most popular creations of the Canadian Golden Age of comics.
Hope is also a producer on Lost Heroes, a documentary on Canada’s superhero history set to air on Superchannel in 2014. Lost Heroes is directed by Orphan Black & Bitten writer/producer Will Pascoe and explores the past of the Canadian superhero from Nelvana to Captain Canuck and Cerebus.
