Ruth's story is an inspiring one, to think that a 15 year old girl could experience so much. Especially about a piece of American History that is so often forgotten or set aside. This generation is leaving us and it's important to get these stories down now. If we never learn from our past, we're condemned to make these mistakes again in the future.
