Farther Than the Trees is a memorable film, in parts quite disturbing, and in parts amusing. A thought-provoking piece which remains with you... it has remained with me anyway! There are elements of surrealism throughout. The actors were superb, drawing in the viewer and portraying a mysterious series of events which left me wondering what could happen next and what already happened to bring these characters together. A brilliant short film which built suspense throughout with clever music, excellent directing and superb acting. Colourful, interesting, and lots of things to talk about afterwards... just what a short film should deliver.
