An Endurance Movie, or an Analysist Wet Dream.
dakotaclaire7 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I found the movie boring. There was a story, but it was a verbal telling with snuff laid over it. I only watched it once, but I feel like it would be a great movie for someone who enjoys rewatching and analyzing. I think there is a lot of content to mess around with, it just has to be your type of thing.

I loved the camera work and the stylization of the set, makeup, etc. I thought it was very artistic and I loved that aspect. The only set detail I did not like was the baby in the second half. I understand they obviously are not going to use a real baby (thank god), but I wish they used something better than a plastic baby doll from the dollar store. The rest of the film was just so artistic, I feel like that really broke the snuff film illusion.

Besides that, maybe it is because I didn't have piss in mind, but it feel like there was A LOT more piss than vomit. And most vomit was blood. It wasn't as gory as I thought it would be, but it was still a gore film.

A nasty and boring endurance test
cgearheart24 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The film honestly was just bad... Just disgusting for being disgusting and really bad acting...

The film had no shortage of blatant disgustingness: Bugs, urine, vomit, cannibalism, murder, pedophilia, incest, crucifix masturbations, blood, bloody sex, and more.

What the film did have was a shortage of explaining why we needed to see all this and why it was even so important for this film...

Not disturbing, not shocking, not intense or scary... Just full on disgusting.

This is not a review
itrevorallen20 January 2024
It seems like almost all of the other reviewers for, well the majority of LV films, focus on the same few things. Sarcasm about how kind it is, repulsion about the things he depicts (understandable), or they act like edgy 14yo redditers who are in a competition to see whose the edgiest cringe lord.

I don't want to dedicate a ton of time to this, but someone should say SOMETHING different about it... The movies are sad. They're tragic. If you've read the reviews or even attempted to watch them and bailed don't be afraid to re-visit them, or look away and listen in. I think something can be gained from simply listening.

His films depict a lot of tragedy, and he very cleverly but immorally takes advantage of said tragedy. In this film in particular we bounce back and forth between who the woman was in the past, and who she is now. The "Actress" is now dead, she was killed in a drug trade gone bad. And if that doesn't hint his films may go deeper than "hey lets act this out!" then I don't know what does.

I believe the time lapse between "who she was" and "who she is" is only a few years... and (per a simple google or reddit search) you can find that between those years some very atrocious things may have happened between her and LV. She discusses much of her childhood, and from it you can pick if it's true or for the sake of a film. I personally believe something inbetween, and online forums seem to have evidence of that being the case... Its truly an abomination to take such a story and turn it into a "movie." But yet, what is occurring on camera is happening all around us, in every country, and every city in the world. Generation after generation.

I don't think the takeaway from his films is what he intended on it to be, but these films depict the absolute gutter of humanity, well hidden behind "omg lets make an extreme film by finding vulnerable strung out people with trauma!". I dearly hope if you enjoyed these or find yourself as someone wanting to participate (apparently a real thing yes) you find the help you need.

Cheers, Mr. Valentine... I'll see you in another nine years time, once my stomach has settled.
BA_Harrison6 June 2020
I was sufficiently nauseated by Lucifer Valentine's ReGOREgiated Sacrifice to leave it almost nine years before attempting to complete his infamous 'Vomit Gore' trilogy. I don't think I left it long enough. It probably didn't help that I had just eaten two rounds of ham, cheese and pickle sandwiches, but Slow Torture Puke Chamber definitely had the desired effect, leaving me feeling more than a little bit queasy. Lucifer Valentine fans will no doubt take that as a recommendation.

It might be hard to believe, but this third film takes the depravity even further than before, with all sorts of revolting acts intended to have the bile rising in your throat. There's the expected regurgitation of blood and unidentifiable matter, of course, but Valentine also includes water sports (and I'm not talking about wake-boarding or surfing), insect eating, autoerotic-asphyxiation, crucifix masturbation (The Exorcist has nothing on this!), and sadomasochistic fun with a used tampon.

The performers are a variety of tattooed women who, according to a disclaimer at the beginning of the film, are in no way being forced to debase themselves on camera: apparently they do it for the kicks, which makes one wonder what kind of childhood they had to have grown up with such low self-esteem. Oh, and there's one guy who goes by the name of Hank Skinny who, in the film's bad taste show-stopper, cuts open the belly of a pregnant woman, removes her foetus, and goes where even A Serbian Film didn't dare to go.

This is one of those kinds of films that I find difficult to rate, so I won't. It's far too sick to say that I enjoyed it, but at the same time, I admire its ability to shock even my jaded soul. I also appreciate it for reminding me that, no matter where life takes me, no matter how hard it all gets at times, at least I can say I never starred in a Lucifer Valentine vomit gore movie.

To be expected
slavetumani24 February 2019
Lucifer Valentine delivers what the title promises he definitely warns you... Slow. Torture. Puke. Chamber. If you're not remotely into any of those things and you're not at all familiar with His work I won't advise you to watch this because you'll just be hyper critical for no reason. I am in fact into gross things far more gross than this film. Not a fan of puke play but um it was an entertaining art form. Definitely different. I loved the humiliation and degradation. The surrendering of the free will excites me considering that I am a slave. Poor acting but hey it's low budget. I loved the movie quotes they are classic.

Honestly boring
rosedxxne23 March 2024
It was porn, literally just porn. It's not a film or art, it's terrible. You can tell this is just some dumb man's fantasies put onto a camera, so he can wank off to it later. I watched this expecting to be scared and disturbed by gore and it didn't deliver. I was just kinda grossed out. The worst scene was at the end with a baby, which was honestly just really fricking weird. The thought that he found that erotic or whatever and probably jerked off to it is very concerning but hey ho I guess. If you're really curious then I suppose I do recommend skipping through the movie just to confirm what I've said, but trust me, it really is just porn.

A great watch for the whole family!
OniBlank21 January 2019
I showed this film to my husband and 3 year old child and we all absolutely loved it! Great acting and the screenplay is an absolute masterpiece. Who knew you could even do what that woman did with a large wooden crucifix? Forget movies like Frozen or Toy Story, this is the ultimate family movie.

Puke the pain away...
ninjas-r-cool1 September 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Lucifer Valentine takes quite a bit of pride in having invented a new subgenre - vomit gore. It's undeniably unique, but in saying that I'm reminded of a quote David St Hubbins once made about Nigel Tufnel - "Nobody else plays quite like him. Nobody even tries." That certainly rings true here. The main problem with Valentine's films is that he takes an interesting premise - witnessing the internal visions of a woman during the moments of brain death following suicide - and merely uses it as an excuse to splatter his fetishes across the screen.

So the vomit gore trilogy finally reaches its long-awaited (or maybe not) conclusion and, as I see it, there are 3 options as to how this could play out: 1. The hallucinogenic qualities could be amped up to create an Eraserhead style nightmare. 2. The puking could be pushed to inhuman levels, soaking the screen in a non-stop barfing frenzy. 3. It could be the exact same thing as the other films, with a different title.

Sadly, it takes the third option, although it does head off in a slightly different, darker direction.

The film starts with a spoken disclaimer from star Hope Likens that she agreed to be involved, was informed of the content, signed daily contracts and was given a safe word to be used at any time. Is this just a cheap shock tactic? Sure it is! But hey, when the movie's called Slow Torture Puke Chamber, complaining about cheap shocks seems a little silly. So the curtain rises and immediately cue scenes of Likens being slapped, beaten, choked with a belt, etc. - all very real. Nothing you wouldn't see in your average Max Hardcore flick but still pretty nasty. What follows is a fair chunk of the usual Lucifer Valentine fare - puking blood into shot glasses and then downing them one by one; masturbating with crucifixes and hurling onto Jesus; bloody tampons; pig masks; and of course lots of pissing and blowing chunks.

What sets it apart though is the confessions of self-loathing from the actresses and an even greater focus on degradation than usual. It all culminates in a 20 minute finale involving a pregnant woman, a big knife, a blender and a puking machine named Hank Skinny, that is by far the nastiest set-piece. Sure, it's got plenty of puke and gore, but it's the implications behind what we're seeing that make for a much more pernicious beast - this is the pornography of abuse and there's something quite evil about it. Any sense of enjoyment that might be had from vomit gore leaves the room, making way for something considerably more unnerving.

Certainly gender politics come into play here. A woman pissing on her own face is automatically assumed to be fetishistic porn, whereas a guy pissing on his own face could be put in the new Jackass movie and play in mainstream theatres around the world. But still it's hard to watch the debasement on display here and not think that these women are broken goods. When Hope Likens breaks down on-camera while talking about her childhood sexual experiences with her father, it feels uncomfortably real. If it's not, then she's quite an actress. Either way, I'm not the judgemental type. I'm sure starring in a puke flick is just as cathartic and no less degrading than paying some therapist 100 bucks an hour to pretend to care about your problems. So I say, you go girls! Get them clothes off and puke your guts out to your heart's content. As long as all the barf stays on that side of the screen, then these freaky chicks are alright in my book.

The Trilogy Comes to an End
Michael_Elliott21 November 2017
Slow Torture Puke Chamber (2010)

** (out of 4)

The third and final film in Lucifer Valentine's trilogy once again has Ameara Lavey returning in the role of Angela Aberdeen but we also have Hope Likens who also gets in on the puking.

I must admit that Valentine at least put his stamp on this trilogy and there's no question that he made the "vomit/gore" genre. I'm not really sure if that's something to brag about but this third film pretty much offers us the exact same thing as the first two. Does it push the limits even further? I would say no because the second film is probably the best and most vile of the bunch.

With that said, Valentine throws a few new things into the mix with the biggest having the ladies drink their own pee. This happens several different ways and it seems that the peeing is the main focus of this film but have no fear you puke fans, that stuff happens too. It happens quite a bit throughout the 77-minute running time to be exact so fans of that will be happy.

As I've said about the first two films, there's nothing I'd recommend here but at the same time there's no question that the director has delivered a vile and shocking film, which is what he intended to do.

I love this movie.

Warning: Spoilers
Amira Levy is a good girl. I like her. I understand a lot of things in the Vomit trilogy. I also look behind the scenes. From now on, I'll only watch Lucifer's work. I am a 13 year old girl from China and I'm not kidding, I hope you can read my review. Although the movie is uncomfortable with the blood and vomiting, I feel more sorry for the actors in it. Two of the heroines have been vomiting, and one of the leading men is also vomiting. They must be very uncomfortable! Making this vomit trilogy must not have been easy. The final film in the Chronic Torture Vomit Room trilogy is now popular online in China, It was also the first bloody vomit movie I saw, I didn't feel anything the first time I saw it, just thinking about the two heroines in it why they are obviously good girls to make this, until I saw the featurette, I understand that in China, there are hundreds of fans of Ameara Lavey, including me, I will know more about Ameara Lavey in the future, because I love her, although she has passed away, I feel very sorry for her death, I hope she can be happy in heaven! Next life she must become a happy carefree person, a good life!

Another very busy schedule in this final part of the trilogy!
CarLIokffgE13 November 2023
Lucifer Valentine's horror films are very generous in what they offer. Personally, I really think that the people involved in his films had a lot of fun (this is just my feeling, I have no information), that everyone enjoyed performing and building this universe.

So, what's on the agenda for the day? A direct sequel to the previous entry, with a darker and more desperate tone, but even more uninhibited and fun fantasies and gore! I insist, for me there are two sides to this film: the dark and desperate story of the characters, with Angela's self-destructive spiral - which is quite sad, we can identify in a certain way -, and the joy of "projecting" all kinds of "things" on the screen.

So, we have new naughty fantasies such as urophilia... There is a notable scene from that. If the film is rather (erotic)-pornographic in its first part, the gore comes in force in the second half. As usual, I don't want to spoil it, but know that it involves a pregnant woman, and I can say it makes for one hell of a scene! In the genre, it's a scene that pushes things to the max : it's very creative.

Generally speaking, I had a harder time following the story because it's the most psychedelic film in the trilogy (that wasn't a problem).

Like ReGOREgitated Sacrifice, it's a film that I really liked.
