The movie was good. :). Joanne is brilliant in her field of interest. I admire how, she assessed this cute kid, named Libby. The steps Joanne took to understand Libby, was excellent, which makes it genuine. She knows the kid is normal, and that is true in the context of the movie story line. Joanne did support Libby, in a genuinely caring manner, when having conversation with other people, in the context of the movie.
Sign language was perfect for Libby. The approach Libby's parents took to stop the sign language, for Libby wasn't a good approach. In the speech therapy class, she was isolated. As soon as she saw Joanne, using sign language she communicated "i love you", which means she loves Joanne's sign language teaching approach only, with her Libby feel genuinely loved, and cared.
