Brent begrudgingly accepts to appear at a Star Trek TOS-themed children's birthday party as Mr. Spock in hope of impressing the birthday boy's father, an influential theater director. Dakota joins him as the alien villainess.
In the middle of Brent's acting class, Dakota and her sleazy agent and boyfriend Tommy make a scene and break up. Meanwhile, his student Lewis wants to do a scene from Glengarry Glen Ross in the nude.

Spiner's cute ditsy next door neighbor, who fails to recognize him, asks him to coach her, since she's suppose to act in a movie called Sunny Side Up and has problems with her lines. It turns out it's an adult movie.
Spiner wakes up in his psychic neighbor Val's apartment. She and her roomy Larry try to cheer him up and so does Dakota, who brings some snacks. She talks a bit about her past and shows signs of Electra complex.
