Arbitrary Makes for Weakness
Hitchcoc16 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Aram getting the job when Harold is at trial seemed arbitrary. Then I realized that the rest of the people are so scarred that they would be incompetent to handle things. He is a lesser of evils with Harold gone. Don is certainly not stable. Of course, Red is running things. The whole thing with the vault and the woman with no scruples is a bit much, but Superman had his Fortress of Solitude. I loved how they got her out of custody, using phony agents ahead of the real ones. Her fate is a little ambiguous at this point, but she is now out of the picture. I felt a little bad that Reddington had to extort cooperation from Cynthia (I like her), but she gave him not choice and Cooper definitely would have done time. Looking forward to the next one. I love being pulled along like this.

Cooper Stays

Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Red and Weecha, they enter Reginald Cole his office. Today is Cooper his trial. Aram is the new boss of the Task Force. The FBI arrested Helen. Red captured Helen, on a very sneaky way. Red blackmails Cynthia, to help Cooper in his trial. Cooper is back as a agent, Aram stays the boss. Nice Episode of The Blacklist Season 9, this series is still interesting. So many secrets and mystery!

Wheels turn, justice sits.

This had an old style TV Mission Impossible vibe to it, quite fun. What they found in the vault is surprising, but the rest of the plot is entirely predictable. Aram as leader has no credibility, I get it changes the dynamic and creates tension, but I am amazed they even let him dress himself.

A competent episode, but not as strong as recent outings.

Honestly I couldn't imagine show going for 9 seasons and still having amazing plot line. Still intriguing, still mysterious and still going amazing. Good job producers and actors!

Heartbreaking scenes for Harold Cooper and Agent Aram deserves more love!!!
tanzimkh16 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Deception, Lines Crossed; these words are synonymous for the infamous Raymond Reddington. But the Taskforce doing it and that too with Mr. Red, takes it to a whole different level . Reddington assigned the taskforce with a blacklister, Helen Maghi; not to find her but to release her from FBI's investigation so that she can help him find a lead on Agent Keen's murderer/Cooper's blackmailer. Upon digging, the taskforce found that the blacklister was supplying weapons to some terrorist organization and Amar being the new taskforce head (yeah, no one saw that coming) refused to release her. Upon request, Aram did allow Reddington to seek Helen Maghi's assistance but soon after the work was done, Aram dispatched an unit (Reddington had no prior knowledge about Aram planning this to do) to capture Helen; this incident upset Reddington who almost went for not continuing to work with the taskforce anymore; had it been Harold making him understand about the situation.

Reddington on another scene, demanded Panabaker to pull some strings to give Harold a few weeks to proof his innocence. Upon Panabaker's denial, Reddington reminded her about the incident that happened few weeks before and make her remember about her desperate situation; eventually that made her compelled to pull some favors for Harold.

Overall, this was a good follow-up episode. The situation and conspiracy over the current investigation is getting intense and does point to a higher authority/powerful people involve over the incident. Until that comes out, this season is just giving me goosebumps. 10/10 on the episode, and specially to Aram for showing that bold statement.

Pretty good episode

Kind'a reminds me of scenes from a James Bond film. Anyway, it was entertaining and only had a few brief references to that other FBI agent many of us would like to forget. I forget her name, but I'm sure you know who it is.

Also to see Reddington (Spader) with a mostly full head of hair. Maybe his razor is broken? I like the look, I think a bit more menacing than the Daddy Warbucks appearance.

Combine eps 14 15 16
richellenls21 April 2022
I am glad I was able to watch eps 14 15 16 together!!

Blacklist has been one of my fav TV shows since the beginning, but I've been on the fence as of late!! I feel like the writers/writing staff maybe have had too long of a COVID break or The Blacklist has..... don't want to write/say it out loud, but is doing jumping jacks!!

I hope not!!!

The end!

Wondering if this episode is going to lead to a jumping the whale episode
ddddskin17 April 2022
1, why would the ex cop have a key for the vault if someone else owned the vault. It would be the equivalent if Dembe had Red's key especially based upon the super security of the vault? He would never be able to use the key. If he could use the key of course Red could have used the key without all the distractions required in the episode.

2. Based upon what was found in the vault I was starting to wonder if Elizabeth is going to be alive and well at some point in the future let's jump that whale soon.
