"Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?"
Mr-Fusion14 December 2016
'Truth and Consequences' brings the feud between Boyd and Pastor Billy to a head, thereby putting an effective end to the Last Chance Holiness Church. The metaphor is an appropriate one, but I can't say I was a big fan of the serpents. Yeesh.

On the Givens side of things, Raylan tangles with the ex of that delightful bartender he's been shacking up with. It really just amounts to posturing between the two, although seeing Raylan walk into his tossed room is a blow. Even the money's gone and all of that hard work with it.

The hunt for Drew continues with the added tension of the Detroit mob's sudden awareness. Things are starting to heat up, but on the whole, this doesn't reach the heights of recent episodes.

Warning: Spoilers
Boyd speaks to Cassie about her being the true runner of the church. He wants to get rid of Billy and her but knows they cannot easily be gotten rid of. Raylan has found out about Randall being the ex husband of Lindsey and not the current. He does not like it but can deal with it. Lindsey tells Raylan of Randall's past which included prison and divorce. She then just undresses for him which makes everything better for him. Boyd sends in Colton and another one of his men to mess with the church but the two get attacked by the many snakes they store. Raylan visits Randall at his fight club and gives him the option to leave or be sent away. Art talks to Rachel about some mistakes she has made having Raylan sit in on this meeting. Wynn talks to Johnny and Johnny believes he is able to give up Boyd to be dead. Tim and Raylan go to visit a spiritual women because someone she was once married to is the man they are looking for. The women's name is Eve Munro and she can provide no help to them. An FBI agent then comes to door and when Eve try's to escape she is captured. Raylan goes to check on Randall leaving for Florida and is followed by the FBI agent making Raylan suspicious. The marshals get to the room just in time to save Eve. Eve then tells the truth all she knows. Boyd goes to visit Billy once again to prove the point of Billy being all powerful to a real snake. Boyd dares Billy to put his arm to the snake but Cassie is shown to be the true ruler. Billy notices this and takes the risk allowing the snake to buy him which starts to poison him. Raylan and Rachel share a drink at the bar. Raylan then walks into his bed room and sees it all turned upside down. This was a good episode and Walton Goggins has been doing some great work this season so far. Timothy Olyphant almost seems to be lazy now.

EPISODE GRADE: B- (MVP: Walton Goggins)
