This season was a pleasant surprise for me. The creators did a great job of making a fresh take on a show within familiar setting. The characters were original, interesting, freaky and oh so hilarious (beat box guy, LARP-er, hillbilly beauty queen etc.). I found this season very veeery funny, arguably much more than previous seasons.
There were two downsides for me: 1.) Too little chef time. He was much more involved in previous season, especially in early seasons of the show.
2.) Season was too short. It had just 13 episodes, so none of the characters got a decent character development. Beacuse of that it's harder to connect with the characters.
I give the season 10 stars becasue i really enjoyed it - the secon time even more than the first time. But also because this season got waaay too much hate and i feel like it was just because people can't let go of the first season. I mean some fans still weep for gwen and trent, and can't get over how much off a stuck up evil person courtney was. (sigh) Oh well..
