The school located in Hartford, CT, notables in the Brookswood High School class of 2007 include: overachiever Elle Chamberlain (Elle a shortened version of a name she dislikes, Noel), the class president, valedictorian, and winter formal queen; Devin Ryan, the class vice-president, a slacker and thus the antithesis of Elle, he who never attended a council meeting in always doing something he considered fun instead; Kam Westin, an overachiever like Elle, who secretly had a crush on him; Samantha Smith, the proverbial wallflower who blended into the background despite her efforts to stand out; Jay and Katie, the lovebirds who all other romantics aspired to be; and Bryce McGuire, the winter formal king. With one calamity after another over the years since *the* incident that marred the senior year winter formal, they have become known as the cursed class of Brookswood. Out of circumstance, Elle, as class president, has scheduled their first ever reunion, "fifteen", in the approach to Christmas. Elle, a high powered Silicon Valley tech executive, has always been defined by her success, which she hopes will impress Kam on who she still crushes. That success is in jeopardy when her company, due to no fault of hers, may take a fall in rumors that they will be under federal investigation. Now put together, Samantha, accompanied by her gay stylist and platonic best friend James, still feels one step behind everyone else despite one small success in life after another, the next possibly a promotion to New York City from Indianapolis as a television reporter. Like Elle, Sam hopes her new persona will impress Bryce, on who she had a crush in high school. Married and working together in a successful real estate business, Jay and Katie want to hide from the others that they have recently separated, they not wanting to burst the bubble of them as the perfect couple. Now a responsible single father and president of his family's party supplies company which has been hired for the reunion, Devin has no intention of attending the reunion itself in feeling that he has nothing to prove to his high school classmates. While the unofficial curse brings many of the class together in they needing to do some crisis management, they will all find that the best things in life are not planned.—Huggo
